The Max Cape is a cape which can be purchased after a player has achieved 99/99 in all released skills. The Cape can be purchased from Prince Brand in Lumbridge, prices varying by mode:

This cape shows enormous dedication and effort and is one of the most sought after capes due to its major offensive and defensive bonuses which are great for day-to-day use and PK'ing. The cape is 100% colour customizable, giving you a sharper look through your in-game experience.

- The Ardougne Cloak 3/4 surpasses both the Magic and Stab attack bonuses of the Max Cape, by +1 by providing a +6 in both.
- All three of the God Capes provide a +10 bonus to Magic attack, whereas the Magic attack bonus of the Max Cape is only +5.
- The Max Cape's Prayer bonus of +10 is surpassed by the Soul Wars Cape(s), which give a +12 bonus to Prayer.
- TheTokHaar-Kal provides a +8 Strength bonus, whereas the Max Cape has only a +4 Strength bonus. The TokHaar-Kal also has +12 Defence bonus in all stats, while the Max Cape only has +11.
