The Dragon spear is a commonly used weapon in PvP and Minigames (such as Castle Wars and Soul Wars) alike, because of its special attack, Shove. Shove stuns the player and pushes them back a square and, for a short time disallows them to eat. Because of this, the spear is often used during tank situations, to stop a player from being able to heal themselves, for a faster death. The spear has an Attack level requirement of 60 and hits fairly often, but is hardly used for anything other than the special attack.
The Dragon spear can be purchased from Zeke, who is located in Varrock and the Falador Party Room.
