Doric can be found in a small building on the intersection of the roads north from Falador, east of Taverley, and south of the Goblin Village, directly in front of the city gate to Taverley.
A quick way to get to his house is by selecting the cities teleport, more, Falador, and then running north.
Ask to use Doric's anvil. Doric will tell you he needs some materials in order to manufacture some pickaxes. He will hand you a bronze pickaxe. He wants you to get him:
- 6 Lumps of Clay, 4 Copper Ore, & 2 Iron Ore
You can bring the items to him right as you start the quest or you can go mine them during it. If you are going to mine the ores, Copper, Iron and Clay can all be found in the Falador caves.
